Taifun GX 2ml by Smokerstore

The Taifun® GX is the first atomizer of a new top coiler generation within the in-house genes of Taifun® GTIV, Taifun® GTR, and Taifun® BTD and is designed for variable use. There are also variable options for the customer with regard to customization and adaptation to their own requirements.

Especially in the area of ​​airflow, the Taifun® GX doesn't want the customer to adapt to the evaporator, it wants to adapt to the customer. Basically, one cannot say that the Taifun® GX can be classified in a narrowly defined category. In general, it serves a wide spectrum in the restrictive area, be it more mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung. However, it is neither a high-performance performer nor a specialized MTL vaporizer. He doesn't want to be either.

The Taifun® GX has a modular structure and we have separated the classic winding deck from the evaporator base. This not only allows a configuration like from a "construction kit", it also simplifies the user's handling of the evaporator in everyday life. For example, the winding deck can be easily lifted off with the top cap to allow free access to the feed wicks and the exchangeable Air Disks.

The top cap is secured with a bayonet lock, already known from the Taifun® GTR. Accidental removal is not possible. The Air Disks allow a wide range of options and are freely interchangeable. The basic version of the Taifun® GX has 2 Air Disks with 3x 1.8 mm air holes. This makes the Taifun® GX slightly more restrictive than the Taifun® GTIV. However, the GX can also be operated without Air Disks and is therefore slightly more open than a GTIV with Open Draw Kit.

A classic AFC regulation similar to the GTIV via the outer adjustment ring is only very limited or not possible. The adjustment ring of the Taifun® GX is not an AFC ring. The regulation of the draw resistance takes place primarily via the Air Disks used.

The so-called multifunction ring of the Taifun® GX clicks into place in several places in a way that the user can clearly feel and hear and serves to ventilate the tank. To fill the evaporator, the ring only has to be moved to the filling position. It is not necessary to remove the top cap.

The Taifun® GX is already equipped with 23 mm long 7x7 stainless steel cables ex works. Falling below the minimum dimension for stainless steel cables requires the use of O-rings to ensure the necessary stability of the cables. Of course, all O-rings used comply with FDA food safety requirements. Recesses in the wick passage of the base enable the O-rings to be held securely. The use of the upper O-rings is also recommended when using the enclosed mesh as a feed wick.

Special Instructions

Depending on the liquid used and the desired performance, it may be necessary to use the enclosed mesh as a feed wick.

In order to be able to remove the positive pole screw of the GX, the required 2 mm Allen key is now included for the first time.

The wide bore drip tip included in the basic version is a stainless steel/POM combination based on the drip tip of the Taifun® BTD. It works entirely without O-rings.

The Taifun® GX is the first evaporator from SmokerStore that is delivered with clear borosilicate glass in the basic version. Here we react to the wishes of the customers. PSU tanks are optionally available.
